Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. TOMORROW: Green Tour of Village Elementary School
Event Description
The USGBC NJ Green Schools Committee in collaboration with the NJ School Boards Association is pleased to present an educational tour of the Village Elementary School addition project in the West Windsor Plainsboro Regional School District. This 37,500 SF addition to the school allows it to serve over 700 4th and 5th graders in a LEED Silver Certified facility. Designed by Fraytak Veisz Hopkins Duthie, the project provides its students and the community of West Windsor Township with a sustainably designed environment with state-of-the-art high performance building systems.
Program features include:
• Tour Village Elementary School and learn about the LEED features
• Learn how to connect building systems to classroom lessons, policy and board goals
• Learn how school paved the way to a LEED Silver green building
• Participate in question and answer session with subject matter experts from the USGBC NJ, NJSBA and other key stakeholders
