    TOMORROW: Green Tour of Village Elementary School

Event Description

The USGBC NJ Green Schools Committee in collaboration with the NJ School Boards Association is pleased to present an educational tour of the Village Elementary School addition project in the West Windsor Plainsboro Regional School District. This 37,500 SF addition to the school allows it to serve over 700 4th and 5th graders in a LEED Silver Certified facility. Designed by Fraytak Veisz Hopkins Duthie, the project provides its students and the community of West Windsor Township with a sustainably designed environment with state-of-the-art high performance building systems.

Program features include:
• Tour Village Elementary School and learn about the LEED features
• Learn how to connect building systems to classroom lessons, policy and board goals
• Learn how school paved the way to a LEED Silver green building
• Participate in question and answer session with subject matter experts from the USGBC NJ, NJSBA and other key stakeholders
