Zero Waste Chicago Meet-up and Documentary Screening of "Scrappers," 9/21 - 6-9 pm, Chicago
Event Description

Join Zero Waste Chicago for a screening of the documentary Scrappers, which looks at the human and economic forces behind scrap metal collection in Chicago. The documentary was produced by three University of Chicago filmmakers and is an intensely local look at the unacknowledged industry of the people who collect scrap metal from Chicago alleys to sell for recycling. You can watch the film trailer here.

Movie snacks will be provided - please just bring your own water bottle and bowl or container! We're looking forward to seeing you there!
