Event Description

Started over 30 years ago in Montgomery, Alabama, the Southeast Recycling Conference & Trade Show (SERC) is an educational and networking event that focuses on specific Issues related to recycling. Interestingly, 65% of attendees come from outside the Southeast.

SERC draws 500 plus professionals every year. Typical attendees include recycling coordinators, solid waste directors, environmental regulators, recycling processors, brokers, recyclers, equipment manufactures, NGO trade associations, and corporate sustainability reps.

Conference oversight is provided by SWIX, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, and the organization of the event is conducted by Environmental Industry & Conference Management (EICM) lead by Nicki Mayfield and Dana Jones.
