Construction on this new residence started in spring 2016; the Pro Tour will offer a chance for participants to see the way the project has come together, while the building process is still underway. This home serves as an example of residential construction that strategically employs standard building materials and techniques to meet the passive house standard.

• Double-stud wall
• Zipsystem wall air barrier
• Insulation includes closed-cell foam, dense-pack fiberglass, loose-fill cellulose
• HERS Index score of 30
• 21 photo-voltaic panels
• Sonnen Eco 10 energy storage system
• 4.75 kbtu/sq ft energy use (Passive House Standard)
• 3 ductless minisplits
• Zehnder ERV with preconditioning ground loop
• Heat pump water heater

CEUs: 2.5 AIA LU/HSW, 2.0 BPI, and certificates of participation are available
