Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. HEET Needs Your Help at a Massachusetts Gas Leak Map-a-thon, March 19, 1-4 pm - Great Volunteer Opportunity

Gas Leak Map-a-thon
Saturday March 19th, 1 pm to 4 pm
108 Hancock St, Somerville (3 blocks from Porter Sq T-stop on the red line)
In March, utilities in Massachusetts will report data on the location and age of every natural gas leak in the state.
HEET is organizing volunteers to map the information, post it and forward the maps onto the associated towns. The information will help educate and inform residents on the issue, increasing the political pressure to fix the leaks.
Needed skills: ability to do simple Excel spreadsheet functions, experience with email, some experience with Google Maps a plus.
Please bring a laptop to perform the work on.
Food and drink will be served.
