Event Description

Participate in the upcoming Green Building Professional - Operations and Maintenance Essentials course (GPRO O&M) and certification exam. This nationally recognized certification course is and is being offered at no cost, through funding from the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund, to building professionals and operators of public and private facilities, including: state, military, and municipal employees; energy efficiency and green building design professional; and college students enrolled in architecture, energy, and construction management programs. This three-day course provides building professionals with the critical tools to transition from conventional to sustainable operations and maintenance of commercial building and multifamily buildings. In addition to GPRO Certification topics, the course covers topics such as energy benchmarking, energy auditing, and an overview of Connecticut’s energy efficiency and environmental compliance programs.

The GPRO Fundamentals and GPRO O&M Essentials courses are endorsed by the U.S. Green Building Council and Urban Green, NYC and supported by the CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP), Eversource Energy, United Illuminating and funded through the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund. The GPRO program was developed by Urban Green, and made available through the CT Green Building Council. CEUs for successful completion of GPRO are available through AIA and USGBC.
