Please be kind and respectful!
Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. Celebrate Earth Day in Boston, April 21st
Event Description
We are inviting you to our party! Please join the Boston Affordable Energy Coalition for a special outdoor event to celebrate the Earth and the work we are doing together to take care of it and its inhabitants.
We're building solar, planting gardens, composting our waste, and strengthening our community!
Agenda for the day:
11:30am-1pm: Networking Lunch. Potluck if you can, but please join regardless, to get to know each other and who else is working on climate justice and clean energy access in the community
1-1:45pm: Guest Speakers
1:45-3pm: Activities:
- Hands-on Solar Workshop (for teens and adults)
- Free Solar Evalutaion of your Roof
- Energy Efficiency Resources
- Gardening and Composting Demonstration
- Electric Vehicle Test Drives
- Resource tables of other organizations and services in town (email Madeleine@resonant.energy if you want to reserve a table)
This is a family friendly event, free and open to the public. There will be kids activities and food.
