Join BASEA for the 18th Annusal Solar Picnic at the beautiful grounds of the Somerville Community Growing Center. Solar cooking, photovoltaic demonstrations, refreshments and the good company of your fellow solar enthusiasts are on the menu. The Summer solstice shines on Monday, so we will celebrate in anticipation on the last day of Spring.

A great place for a picnic, the Somerville Community Growing Center is an urban oasis that was designed and built by local residents and is maintained by volunteers. Celebrate another year's growth in the garden and share your stories about solar energy's past, present and future. Join Boston Area Solar Energy Association (BASEA.org) for this annual gathering of old and new friends interested in renewable energy.
