In 2019, New York City passed its own city-wide version of the Green New Deal. The plan includes reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 40% by 2030, setting new goals for new developments and existing infrastructure like power plants. Join Be Social Change, to hear from expert panelists about the status of called-for changes and how New Yorkers can play a vital role in making our city a leader in the movement against climate change.
