Indoor Air Quality
Event Description

sustainABLE: USGBC West North Central's new regional forum exploring green building and sustainability in relationship to current events and our ability to change future outcomes with proper foresight, adaptability, and innovation.

As we begin to move back into our offices and other public buildings many questions come to mind. How do we handle ventilation? What about cleaning chemicals? Should we prioritize operable windows? How do we control humidity for infection prevention? The knee jerk reaction might be to simply increase airflow. However, this can quickly lead to more energy use which in turn degrades the global environment without the guarantee that more fresh air will reduce the risk of infection.

Join a conversation on June 9 with industry leaders to discuss Indoor Air Quality and human experience within buildings including how we measure success while helping people feel well in the workplace.
