Event Description

Introduction to Environmental Resilience Series: Building Resilient Water Systems

This series of 90-minute workshops are designed to introduce you to what resilience is and how it applies to your life at home and at work. You can join the series at any time.

Access to clean drinking water is a fundamental human right. California's water system faces a variety of challenges, from drought to an aging water infrastructure, to changes in precipitation. Learn how resilience principles apply to water systems, and what solutions exist to transform and protect the regional's water supply and quality. This 90-minute interactive session will provide participants with a framework for understanding resilient water systems, from watershed to tap and back again.
