Event Description

Interested in saving your nonprofit money by investing in energy efficiency upgrades? The County and City of Sarasota have secured grant funding to create financial savings for area human services or environmental nonprofits through investment in sustainable upgrades and practices at local facilities. Join us to learn about how your organization can save money and take a step towards making an impactful change for our environment!

At this workshop you will learn about the program, why it’s important to make your facilities more efficient, and how you can use the savings to further your mission. Learn how to apply for this grant funding and details about the application. This is the first opportunity to hear from pilot nonprofits that have already started their energy audits and improvements.

This grant opportunity, in partnership with Sarasota County and City government, is funded by Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation, Gulf Coast Community Foundation, and the Partners For Places matching grant program, a joint project of the Funders' Network for Smart Growth and Livable Communities and the Urban Sustainability Directors Network. We are also grateful to DreamLarge for investing their expertise in creative strategy and vision into this initiative.
