Event Description

Getting to Net Zero – A Conversation and Workshop on Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, and Carbon Reduction

Please join Renew Energy Initiative (REI) & Rhode Island Business Climate Leaders (BCL) to participate in a lively discussion and a productive workshop at Spumoni’s Restaurant from noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday February 28, 2019 to address the challenges of getting to net zero by 2050.

Many people believe that climate change is the biggest challenge of our age. Yet we know that we are not on track to achieve the targets recommended by the latest IPCC report: getting global greenhouse gas emissions to net-zero by 2050, and getting halfway there by 2030. Join us as we explore how we each, as citizens, professionals, business owners and home owners, can do our part to meet that challenge.
