Join Bay Planning Coalition’s Expert Briefing on Reducing Emissions in the Transportation Sector on July 30th from 9:00am -11:00am via Zoom Webinar.

As the transportation sector accounts for the largest source of emissions in the state, this Expert Briefing will explore how the state and region and working to reduce emissions across the passenger transit and goods movement industries. Panels will feature how regulators, planners, operators, and green technology companies are mobilizing to collectively reduce emissions to meet new regulations and build a more sustainable future. Stay tuned for the full speaker lineup.

We are pleased to announce Mary Nichols, Chair of the California Air Resources Board, as our keynote speaker, who will present on her vision to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the transportation sector statewide, as well as the current status of the conflict with the federal administration and their efforts to thwart California's ability to set their own fuel economy standards.
