Event Description

Learn how to build more sustainable, efficient buildings in 2018. Visit AEA's Chicago Hands-on Training Lab and learn about courses and technical support for contractors working on Passive House & Net Zero Energy projects.

At AEA's training lab, you can learn to install high performance airtightness products, triple pane windows, and heat recovery ventilation systems, as well as techniques for airtightness testing and advanced skills for retrofit installers.

See our training facilities and mingle with like-minded contractors, installers, and construction inspectors, developers, energy consultants, and design professionals overseeing high performance new construction or retrofit projects.

AEA has training locations and test centers in New York City, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Chicago.

AEA Chicago has a modern classroom fully equipped with AEA’s distance learning technology, enabling students to interact in real time with AEA trainers and class participants both in person and at locations around the country, and to take advantage of animated video simulations and 3-D tools, as well as the installed demonstration equipment at AEA’s Bronx Energy Management Training Center. The site is also a BPI Test Center.
