Event Description

Tune in to the Green Room with your questions as we host Dr. Amelia Clarke, Associate Dean of Research for the Faculty of Environment and an Associate Professor in the School of Environment, Enterprise and Development (SEED), University of Waterloo, Canada.

The Green Institute is the first Nigerian research institution that subsidizes college tuition costs through a waste management program while training leaders that will systematically transform attitudes about environmentalism in Africa’s most populated and polluted country.

The Institute offers training and research, in line with proffering innovative solutions to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Our principal area of concentration is environmental sustainability, but we adopt both a micro and macro-level approach that encompasses relevant studies in the sciences, arts, and social sciences. Our onsite campus is located in Ondo Kingdom, Nigeria, but our reach and applicability is global.
