UK Passivhaus Conference 2019
Event Description

The wider industry is waking up to the benefits of energy efficient buildings and many policies are beginning to point to Passivhaus (or equivalent!) But are we capable of propelling Passivhaus as the new norm for the masses? This timely one-day conference examines the challenges of successfully industrialising the Standard. Hear from those already constructing at scale and complexity, with several key case studies and best practice to minimise risks.

The programme will include:

  • Keynote speakers sharing the latest policy updates and pioneering zero energy agendas.

  • The latest exemplar Passivhaus case studies of large and complex buildings including the UK's first Passivhaus Premium, and a world first Passivhaus hospital.

  • Interactive workshops: Explore & debate key topics in an afternoon covering what is required to stimulate Passivhaus demand, upskilling the workforce, and enforcing Passivhaus quality assurance.
