Women in Green Building Leadership Luncheon, March 4, Chicago, Illinois
Event Description

Join Illinois Green Alliance for the return of the annual Women in Green Building Leadership Luncheon, where Illinois Green Alliance celebrate and engages with the influential women at the forefront of sustainability design and construction.

This year’s theme is “Match the Moment,” and Illinois Green Alliance will explore how adaptive leadership and thoughtful messaging can build diverse connections and inspire action. The ideas shared at this event reflect a growing reality in the work: that advancing green buildings requires leaders who can adapt how they communicate, without losing sight of our shared goals.

Whether engaging policymakers on the public benefits of strong building standards, collaborating with industry peers motivated by performance and financial returns, or connecting with communities seeking healthier, more resilient spaces, effective leadership means speaking to what matters most to each audience. Through the unique professional experiences shared here, this year’s Women’s Luncheon will equip our community to move sustainability forward in ways that resonate, persuade, and endure.

This event will be in person at Maggiano’s Little Italy in River North and will feature a three-course vegetarian lunch. Illinois Green Alliance speakers represent a range of industry and professional experience levels to allow space for women across the sustainability landscape to relate to their stories. Following the panel discussion, there will be opportunities to join the conversation and share your own narrative through facilitated table discussions.
