GUEST SPEAKER: Stephanie, Horowitz, AIA CPHCZeroEnergy Design (ZED)

Stephanie is Managing Director of ZeroEnergy Design (ZED), a green architecture and energy consulting firm. The firm’s commitment to innovative and ecologically sensible design is reflected in their multidisciplinary knowledge base, which spans the fields of architecture, mechanical engineering and finance. ZED is committed to designing homes and buildings that use 50% less energy than building code requires, in pursuit of energy independence.

Stephanie also serves on the AIA’s Committee on the Environment (COTE) Advisory Group, and is a founding board member of Passive House Massachusetts. Stephanie is a Certified Passive House Consultant and a Massachusetts Registered Architect.


The Residential Green Building Committee is focused on improving the housing stock of the Commonwealth by championing green building practices in our communities. Join us on the second Monday of each month to be a part of the movement. The committee’s objectives are to work to raise the awareness of the benefits of residential green building and remodeling and to increase the quantity of projects registering for LEED for Homes. T
