Event Description

The 17th annual SyracuseCoE Symposium, Water + Energy + Design: Innovations for Healthy, Vibrant Communities will feature presentations by keynote speakers, Faculty Fellows, and collaborating researchers that target innovations in water, energy and design for healthy, vibrant communities. SyracuseCoE Faculty Fellows lead multidisciplinary research teams that conduct targeted research in clean and renewable energy, indoor environmental quality, and water resources.

This year’s Symposium will offer a full day of keynote speakers and parallel sessions, with student lighting talks at lunch. Sessions are organized into three tracks featuring presentations in the topic areas of Water in Urban Environments, Energy Resources and Design in Urban Environments.

The program will be followed by a transition to the nearby SyracuseCoE headquarters facility for the Symposium Student Poster Competition and Networking Reception. Winners of the Student Poster Competition will be announced during the reception.
