During the Summit, participants will:

  • Explore the relationship between equity, environmental justice, and climate change;
  • Learn about new tools and policies to assess and address climate vulnerability; and
  • Recognize resilience planning opportunities where systems overlap with climate risks.

      Hill is a Visiting Scholar at the Environmental Law Institute, which is a Washington, DC based environmental law and policy think tank. Previously, Mr. Hill was the senior counsel for environmental governance of the Office of International and Tribal Affairs at the U.S. EPA. He also served as the director of the Office of Environmental Justice at the EPA, the associate solicitor of the Division of Conservation and Wildlife, and director of the Office of Hearings and Appeals of the U.S. Department of the Interior. He received a BA in Political Science from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York; a MA in Political Science from Howard University; a JD from the Cornell University of Law; and an honorary doctor of laws degree from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law.
