Free Webinar: Is residential battery and solar the future for UK homes? Some data-driven thoughts, June 09, 5 - 6:15 pm
Event Description

David installed a 4 kWp solar array and a 10 kWh battery system at his home in Oxford in 2023. In this talk, David will share what the data so far reveal about system performance, including operational modes, energy production and throughput, and the resulting cost savings and payback. He will also use historical data to explore how different time-varying tariffs might have affected operation and economics. Along the way, David will connect these findings to our broader work on larger-scale grid storage, and discuss implications for battery ageing, grid carbon emissions, and wider policy and system issues.
