Event Description

The California Green Building Standards, or CALGreen (Title 24, Part 11), is a wide-ranging code covering aspects of site design, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, water efficiency, indoor air quality and much more. In this course, the presenter will focus on residential Mandatory Measures and Tiers, providing examples of implementation and highlighting 2025 changes throughout.

Learning Objectives -

  • Understand the CAL Green compliance process for residential projects, highlighting changes in the 2025 code.
  • Become familiar with CAL Green mandatory measures and green building benefits of each, including new single-family and multi-family electric vehicle charging requirements
  • Understand Tier 1 and Tier 2 options.
  • Learn tools and best practices for submitting and reviewing compliance documentation.
