Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. AUGUST 20th: Seed School in a Day W/ Denver Urban Gardens
Event Description
Seed School is a one-day workshop that offers a comprehensive overview of seed saving. Practical, hands-on activities are balanced with engaging lectures to provide a fun and interactive learning experience. Following the workshop, participants will understand why bioregional seed saving is so important and they will gain enough skills to begin their seed saving adventure! Participants of all skill levels and backgrounds, including farmers and gardeners, are welcome to participate in this informative and accessible workshop.
This workshop is hosted by DUG and Friends of ENCA Farm and will be facilitated by instructors from the Rocky Mountain Seed Alliance— a nonprofit organization working to assure an abundant and diverse supply of seeds for the Rocky Mountain region through education, networking, and establishing community-based models of seed stewardship.
COST: $60, includes lunch. Scholarships available. Email dirt@dug.org for more information.

Note: This workshop will be held at a working farm. Please come prepared to be outside for a large portion of the workshop. We recommend you bring sun protection and a water bottle.
