Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. 2026 Design for Freedom Summit, March 26, New Canaan, Connecticut
Event Description
The 2026 Design for Freedom Summit convenes leaders of the architecture, construction, technology, manufacturing, finance, government, academic, and real estate sectors to advance the global movement toward a more ethical built environment.
Through the guidance of the Design for Freedom Principles, participants will explore solutions to identify and address forced labor, advance ethical decarbonization, and prioritize circularity through a human rights lens.
This year’s Summit is a culmination of the past 5 years of partnership, innovation and dedication to creating a more humane future. Attendees will leave inspired and equipped with the technology, tools, and vision needed to take immediate action toward more responsible supply chains.
We look forward to another full audience in 2026! Your ticket includes the full day of programming, tours, exhibits, jazz breakfast, lunch, a cocktail reception, and complimentary shuttles from our partner hotels and local train stations.
