Event Description

In this two-hour interactive webinar, participants will be guided through the results of a Seattle-based cost-benefit analysis called "A Decision Maker's Guide to Cost-Effective Residential Potable Water Reduction in Seattle, WA" that reveals significant financial opportunities for the financing of sustainable water strategies. This webinar will help Seattle-area affordable and market rate developers, designers, builders, and homeowners review the payback scenarios of potable water reduction strategies across three residential building scales, demonstrate how project team leaders can communicate key issues, and illuminate where policymakers can implement incentives and regulation to make a positive difference. The guide includes findings for single-family homes, 30-unit multifamily buildings, and 100-unit multifamily buildings.

This event will also feature an opportunity to hear from some of the project teams featured as case studies within the guide and will conclude with breakout groups for each of the building scales so that attendees can walk away with more detailed insight and ideas for next steps on their projects.
