  • Review how buildings produce carbon emissions and why current design solutions and building codes are critical to influencing and achieving Net Zero results.
  • Understand what it means for a building to be "Net Zero" and the strategies of site energy and source energy as they impact building systems and operations.
  • Analyze different Mechanical systems including natural gas boilers, electric resistance heaters, air source heat pumps and geothermal generation. These systems will be reviewed and compared as to how they meet or exceed current building code requirements.
