Making Green Sustainable... Again

I've been a building since the 90's and a green builder for close to 20 years now.  I enjoyed a nice increase in business in the early 2000's during that green bubble before the crash in 2008.  We still build using the same priciples, however have noticed that our clients don't really seem to be demanding high performance building OR healthy building as much as they used to.

I have a feeling that we are about to experience a "new green wave" when it comes to design, specifications and building due to an increase awareness from COVID-19.

We have 2 choices in 2020:

1.  We can wait to see what the market brings to us OR

2.  Our industry can control and write the narrative for healthy, comfortable energy efficient build environments.

People are concerned about their health and wellness and environmental impact now more than ever so we need to make sure we are ready to serve their needs.
