Event Description

Green Meadows believe everyone should be able to learn and understand more about their home and their energy.

This workshop is good starter for anyone interested in attending the in person Future-Fit practical skills workshops to make energy saving measures at home. It is also open to anyone who wants to learn something new about our homes and buildings. If this sounds like you, come along!

This event is for Meadows residents only. It is online and runs for 1.5 hours.

Outline:

  • Understanding heat-loss in the home
  • U values: measuring heat-loss
  • Building Regulations and thermal performance
  • Building health and safety: insulation and moisture control
  • Airtightness and ventilation

'Introduction to heat-loss in buildings' is part of the Green Meadows Future-fit skills workshops.
