Event Description

This session will cover:

  • Track financial data for diversion and waste disposal 

  • Generate climate impact report using the U.S. EPA WARM Model 

  • Become an active participant of the U.S. EPA Waste Wise Program 

  • Develop a zero waste goal/policy to all employees 

  • Zero waste and Circular Economy for employee orientation

  • Examples of educational programs with employees about zero waste activities 

  • Train purchasing agents

  • Include zero waste in evaluation process and/or bonus structure

In this series of courses you explore how businesses can create value by striving for zero waste, seeing products and materials as cycles, the role of creative solutions, and how you can contribute to make the transition to a Circular Economy.

You will learn to re-think the economic system you experience every day; act on it and become a leader in this major paradigm shift. You will shape a more circular future, together with our network.

Students that complete all the 3 modules will receive a certificate at the end.   GBCI to approve CE hours for these training sessions.
