Event Description

Regulations effect the work of architects, planners, and designers. While policy advocacy may not be part of your day-to-day workflow and policymaking may seem far afield from your skillset, you may be surprised by how important it can be. Urban planning and housing are governed by complex regulatory constraints that often necessitate your skills as designers so that policies have their desired intent.

Join the Urban Design Committee and the Housing Committee for “Policy for the Architect Advocate” where we will hear from policy makers and advocates that are working to improve neighborhoods.
