Event Description

Electrify My Home (EMH) will kick off a 6-part ‘lunch-and-learn’ webinar series focused on home electrification. The Electrify Efficiently webinar series will highlight the tremendous business opportunities, vital role of efficiency, and lessons learned from the field.

In this session, EMH will provide an overview of "good electrification" and "install small" concepts coined by its founder, Larry Waters. These concepts lay the foundation for home electrification best practices. Additionally, EMH will discuss the importance of smart program and policy design. To meet our collective decarbonization goals, the industry will need to move quickly but also intelligently. EMH will outline unintended consequences of poor program or market designs from a residential contractor perspective. The actions of policy makers and program designers must align with the business models and drivers of installation contractors to be successful.
