Vanguard Series: E+, Key Secrets to Success with Net Positive Development Part 1: Residential, March 2, 8:30 am, Boston
March 2, 8:30 am-1:30 pm

50 Milk St, 14th Floor
"Dali" Conf Room
Boston, 02109-Boston

Join John Dalzell, Senior Architect at the Boston Redevelopment Authority for Part 1 of a two part E+ Series on the city's energy positive (E+) affordable housing development. We look forward to having a deep level discussion on net-positive building development.

In 2009, the BRA’s Urban Design department and the City’s Department of Neighborhood Development challenged the design, development and construction community to design and build deep green, energy positive homes. A successful "energy positive" home would exceed LEED's highest Platinum rating and actually return clean energy to the grid. Three developers broke ground on three piiot sites in 2012.

E+ is now expanding its reach to larger communities, where the impact of the projects can affect not just individual buildings, but also neighborhood quality of life and equity issues.
