This webinar is designed to help building design and construction professionals understand how to use environmental product declarations in the procurement process and credit achievement for LEED v4 buildings. It covers the LEED v4 BD+C, LEED v4 ID+C, and LEED v4 O+M rating systems.

Objectives

  1. Use and collect EPDs to design and construct a sustainable building and achieve credit in the LEED v4 BD+C rating system
  2. Use and collect EPDs to design and construct a sustainable building and achieve credit in the LEED v4 ID+C rating system
  3. Use and collect EPDs within an Environmentally Preferable Purchasing plan to achieve a prerequisite and credit in the LEED v4 O+M rating system.
  4. Understand the differences between product-specific EPDs, industry-wide EPDs, and peer-reviewed life cycle analyses and their relative value in the LEED v4 BD+C and ID+C rating systems
