Howdy, everyone, I am new to this site and new in the green building industry, Recently my team got a project in Dubai and the construction is going under the guidelines of Dubai municipality for green building. I think Dubai is the first city to publicly implement the strict standards for eco-friendly building construction. As of now, we are with landscaping and landfilling works for constructing roads and tracks for trailers to the construction site on loose soil. Here we can't simply use any debris fill for landfilling, am thinking about some green landfilling materials, if you guys have any experience and are aware of local laws, please help me to Thank you very much

TerraTech // Temporary access trackway and flooring - all 100% recyclable

Hi there,

I'm not sure if you have already checked the Dubai Municipality website, however they have a number of links that you may find useful.

If you go to - http://www.dm.gov.ae/wps/portal/home you can search and contact them directly. Alternatively search 'green building dubai' and you will a find a number of links through the Municipality which will hopefully assist you.

In terms of constructing roads and tracks, we are the regions leading supplier of temporary access systems. All of our systems are manufactured from plastic and are 100% recyclable, and are available on hire or purchase. We install trackways to the customers design and performance requirements, which can then be removed after the project is complete.

Additionally, we supply a system called 'GeoGrid' which is a permanent install allowing roads and tracks to be built and infilled with grass, stones, gravel etc. This system is ideal for landscaping as it allows for drainage while also offering stabilisation of the ground and soil/sand.

Please have a look at our website - http://www.terratech.ae and feel free to contact me directly if you need any further assistance.
