Protecting the occupants of buildings under construction from exposure to these pollutants is critical for their health and safety. Building containment around the project are–along with pressure control to direct air flow–prevents the spread of contaminants throughout the the building and serves as an effective barrier that traps construction pollutants in a confined area, making clean-up post project easier and more effective.

Attendees of this program will learn:

  • Why containment is so important to protect human health
  • Types and levels of containment (from simple door flap to 2-stage or 3-stage decontamination) and how to decide which type of containment is needed
  • When air scrubbing is needed and when it is not
  • Practical methods to reduce the risk of cross contamination
  • Practical methods to reduce the cost of clean-up
