Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. At Futurebuild 2019, the focus will be on tackling the biggest challenges impacting the built environment. A unique destination for you to gain unrivalled insights and hands-on experience around the latest innovations, products and materials to enable you to tackle these challenges head on.

2019 Ecobuild Conference Programme:
The 2018 conference focused on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and how we could deliver them in the United Kingdom. The key message that came out of the conference was that the time to act is NOW. This is surely reinforced by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) 2018 report about the need to keep global warming below 1.5 degrees Centigrade? So the 2019 conference is focusing on action and how our industry can influence the resilience, sustainability and quality of homes, buildings, infrastructure and cities.
The SDGs provide a vision for a sustainable future, but we need to connect the Goals with delivery and measurable outcomes, both in the UK and as contributors to delivering the Goals overseas. The shocking events at Grenfell Tower have shamed the whole construction industry and should change the way in which the industry operates – starting with the rebuilding of public faith and confidence. The government has made international commitments and has also proposed a range of strategies for the UK. These include the Industrial Strategy with its 4 Grand Challenges, one of which is clean growth, as set out in the Clean Growth Strategy with its sister document, the 25 Year Environment Plan, and the financial mechanism with the Construction Sector Deal. What is the industry’s vision for turning aspirations into reality? Brexit sets a further challenge and the outcome is, as yet, unknown. How can independent watchdogs have sufficient power to monitor the government and call it to account?
We know the challenges, so what are our responses? What are our action plans? How can we inspire, empower and equip all those working in the built environment to share and deliver a vision for a sustainable future? Is it time to think the unthinkable in order to act now with common purpose?

While at Futurebuild, visit the mindful MATERIALS Certification Pavilion!
The mindful MATERIALS Certification Pavilion will offer a unique, focused setting for Futurebuild attendees and exhibitors to unite around and explore the latest thinking and opportunities in sustainable product certification. Offering a complete turn-key solution for exhibitors, the pavilion will provide a simple yet effective way for Certification Programme Operators and manufacturers with key sustainability certifications to showcase their products and service offerings. In addition, the pavilion will also host MATERIALIZE - a dedicated series of workshop events curated by GIGA.
The pavilion will sit within the new dedicated Interiors Hub. This is one of six Hubs providing dedicated platforms that unite sector specific experts with leading brands.
