AUGUST 16th: Support Future Green Leaders at 11th Annual WMSBF Member Outing

  • 16 Aug 2016
Event Description

West Michigan Sustainable Business Forum recognizes the critical role emerging professionals play in forwarding corporate and community sustainability initiatives. They’ve worked hard to facilitate connections between local educational institutions and the business community, and have long prioritized efforts to develop the next generation of change agents and champions. Many of the most influential professionals currently involved in their work were interns at member companies not long ago, and many more were students at their member colleges and universities.

For the past 11 years, the WMSBF have supported these future green leaders with fellowships, internships and other financial support. Last year they invested nearly $30,000 into the careers of emerging sustainable business professionals in West Michigan.

New to the outing this year: an alternative activity for non-golfers. Both outing packages include lunch, an afternoon snack, reception and a chance to win door prizes.

Golf package includes driving range, nine holes (with an option for 18), balls and tees.

River package includes rental of a kayak or canoe (for two), transport to and from portage, guided tour.

Register for the event online or contact Daniel Schoonmaker at dschoonmaker@wmsbf.org or 616.422.7963 to make your donation.
