Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. 2019 GreenBuilt Home Tour, August 3-4, Northern Illinois
Event Description
The seventh annual GreenBuilt Home Tour is August 3 and 4, 2019 from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.Join the Illinois Green Alliance to tour sustainable, healthy homes in Northern Illinois. Meet the builders, designers, and homeowners behind the green homes, experience the latest sustainable home technologies in action, and learn what you can do in your own home.
The GreenBuilt Home Tour features exceptional, award-winning, and nationally-recognized homes throughout Illinois, which highlight attractive, affordable, and sustainable building practices. During the annual two-day event, attendees learn ways the built environment contributes to a healthier community. The tour includes Illinois’ finest builders, designers and homeowners who have created healthy, energy saving green homes.
$5 Single Home Tickets (admits 2): Visit a single home featured on the tour. To avoid passing along increased ticket fees to attendees, this year single home tickets will only be sold at the door during the tour weekend. Tickets coming soon!
Children under 18 are admitted free and must be accompanied by an adult.
