Team USGBC - Jr. Achievement Fundraising Bike Ride
Event Description

Join USGBC Minnesota's Bike Team and help us raise money for a great project!

MEP Associates is teaming up to raise money with U.S. Green Building Council Minnesota to support their Green Schools programming. The Green Schools program works with local schools to support their sustainability goals, build outdoor learning spaces, educate about composting programs, and provide environmental education opportunities. They work to empower students of all ages to become environmental stewards and create greener, healthier schools for all.

Our goal of $7500 will first support a new partnership between U.S. Green Building Council, MN and Junior Achievement of the Upper Midwest (JAUM). Connecting students from across the state with hands-on environmental learning through Arc, LEED, Learning Lab curriculum and more. The students visiting JAUM will have direct opportunities to support JAUM's ultimate goal of achieving LEED v4.1 O+M through Arc. Funds raised above and beyond will support USGBC Green Schools programming throughout our region.

To achieve this goal, MEP organized a bike event with the St. Paul Classic Bike Tour, a paved path across St. Paul with mileage choices of 15, 32, or 47 miles. We invite all ages and experience levels to join us on the September 9th ride to help support our fundraising efforts.

We'll help support your riding goals with fun biking meet-ups, fundraising updates, and team spirit!
