We’re pleased to introduce GreenCE, Inc. as a sponsor for the Rate It Green platform. GreenCE is an AIA Education Provider and USGBC Education Partner based in the Portland, Oregon area. GreenCE provides free AIA continuing education for design professionals seeking their mandatory CE hours. In addition, the organization offers no-cost LEED specific hours and the only free LEED Exam Prep program in North America.

“We are very excited to be working with Rate It Green. Collaboration and innovation are the core principles of our company. Design professionals who participate in our free AIA continuing education programs and no-cost LEED exam prep can be assured that they are taking the most innovative, informative, and user-friendly courses in the industry,” says Brad Blank, Vice-President of GreenCE, Inc.

In addition to education programs, GreenCE helps building product manufacturers get their products specified. The organization develops the necessary documentation required by LEED project teams for specification. The documentation includes: Health Product Declarations (HPDs), Declare Labels, LEED v4 product documentation, and mindful MATERIALS data.

HPDs are the most requested product transparency documents in the AEC industry. Prominent firms like Perkins + Will, Smith Group JJR, and HKS are requesting HPDs. Product manufacturers that comply with these requests are considered for specification. LEED v4 product data sheets are also a significant tool for architects, designers, specifiers, and contractors to use for product selection. Product ingredient disclosure and optimization is a major component of LEED v4.

GreenCE also offers ADA, Accessibility, and Barrier-Free CE courses for California and Texas architects. California architects are required to take five hours of mandatory continuing education for their licensure renewal. Social equity, social justice, and green anarchy are topics that GreenCE has developed courses around.
