It's National Electric Drive Week!

September 9-17 is National Drive Electric Week - This is a nation-wide series of events to raise awareness about all-eletric and plug-in hybrid-electric vehicles.  

Attend an event near you, and find out what it's like to own and drive an "EV" from owners.  Each event is hoted locally by drivers and EV advocates and can host a range of activities.  Many organizations are involved in hosting and sponsoting events, such as Plug In America Sierra Club, and the Electric Auto Association.  

According to the National Drive Electric Week, EVS are "fun to drive, less expensive and more convenient to fuel, are better for the environment, promote local jobs, and reduce dependence on foreign oil."  !!
