The Pandemic is a Portal: Sustainability
Event Description

In the months before COVID-19 struck, the climate crisis was at the top of many people’s minds—from teenagers protesting in the streets, to large corporations pledging to become carbon neutral. In the A&D world, we saw growing awareness of embodied carbon and significant commitment from firms and clients alike. How can our learning from the current health crisis help us take the sustainability movement to the next stage?

At a time when the architecture and design community faces both long-term and immediate challenges and opportunities, Metropolis new digital format—the Metropolis Forum will help industry leaders discuss the way forward and provide opportunities for members of the community to stay connected.

The Metropolis Forum Webinar is an educational, interactive session structured to give the A&D community the opportunity to learn, as they would at an in-person event.

Format:

•Webinar will be a livestream event for viewing by a registered online audience

•Expert(s) will provide instruction and valuable insights on a specific topic

•Live participants can ask the speaker questions and participate in polls
