Passive House 2020
Event Description

“Choose Your Future” is a call to action – to recognize the power of individuals to produce change and to build a movement; a call for us all to not forfeit our influence over events but to use it. Time, money, emotions, and brainpower are all individual investments in future outcomes; in a future that is increasingly uncertain but still ours to shape through our actions, decisions and commitments. Passive House is a way for us to reliably invest in that future.

Our global pandemic and climate emergency ask: How will you change? What will you choose to do? #PH2020, embraces these tough fundamental questions and provides you with actionable answers. You’ll get the framework for making system switches from best selling author Dan Heath. You’ll achieve clarity about the role of Passive House, in conversation with building developers who’ve done it. You’ll learn the inside story from industry leaders, including from Passive House Institute research scientists. And you’ll discover opportunities to leverage changing public policies, consumer awareness, and industry competence, to make built environments that support the business and life goals most meaningful to you. Join the conversation.

Event Schedule:
June 24, Wednesday – 1-4pm EST
July 1, Wednesday – 1-4pm EST
July 8, Wednesday – 1-4pm EST
July 15, Wednesday – 1-4pm EST
July 22, Wednesday – 1-4pm EST
July 29, Wednesday – 1-4pm EST

Accelerating climate disruptions and public policy initiatives are driving uncertainty about the future effectiveness of our investments today. The core mission of Passive House 2020 is to demonstrate and discuss how (and why) building owners, developers, and occupants are choosing Passive House to improve outcomes, minimize uncertainty and risk, provide more control, increase performance and enhance well-being.
