Webinar, Airtightness and Vapor Control in CLT Construction
Event Description

Energy, Safety, and the Importance of Vapour Drive in Mass Timber Construction with Lueder Herms of Pro Clima

During this FREE hour-long presentation Pro Clima's Global Export Manager and R&D Specialist, Lueder Herms, will share his experience and lessons learned from mass timber projects throughout Europe. The presentation will provide building science and practical design knowledge for achieving long-lasting airtightness, comfort, and moisture control in CLT structures.

Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT) use is growing rapidly in Europe, and gaining traction across the US and Canada. While CLT provides many benefits, the panels cannot be relied on to provide airtightness, particularly at the joints or where edges may crack. Lueder Herms, Global Export Manager and R&D Specialist for Pro Clima, shares his experience and lessons learned from mass timber projects throughout Europe and provides building science and practical design knowledge for achieving long lasting airtightness, comfort, and moisture control in CLT structures.
