Event Description

Join USGBC North Carolina and USGBC South Carolina for their annual Green Gala Sustainable Business Awards & Fundraiser on Sept. 21 at The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte.

With an expected attendance of 400 people, we'll honor sustainability leaders and projects that represent green excellence and innovation in the Carolinas. Be inspired by our keynote speaker and join us as we award the 2017 Sustainable Business Awards.You will also have a chance to bid and win silent auction items onsite as well as vote in a live poll for your favorite scholarship recipient. We hope you join us for this night full of fun, inspiration and awards!

The keynote speaker is Scot Horst, chief executive of Washington, D.C.-based Arc Skoru Inc. technology company established to build a-state-of-the-art digital platform that allows any project – from a space to entire city – to measure improvements. Previously, Horst was chief product officer for the Green Building Council overseeing the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design rating system.
