Please be kind and respectful!
Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. Timber Frame House Raising, Yestermorrow School, May 12, Waitsfield, VT
Event Description
Join us in celebrating the raising of the new timber frame outdoor classroom on the Yestermorrow campus!
This project was made possible thanks to the efforts of numerous instructors, student, staff members and interns. We're excited to share it with you!
Dinner will be served at 6pm. BYOB! If you're joining us for dinner, we ask for a $15 per person minimum donation to cover the cost of the meal. Donations will be collected at the event. Please RSVP so that we have an accurate headcount for dinner. If you're not planning to join for dinner, no need to RSVP.
At 7pm, we'll have a brief presentation about the project and take a few minutes to thank all those who were involved.
After the presenation, we invite you check out the project, which will include a newly built stone wall, and enjoy the campus. At dusk, we'll have a bonfire. In typical Yestermorrow spirit, we ask those with musical inclinations to bring their instruments!
If you'd like to join from out of town, you're welcome to bring a tent and camp on campus for the evening.
