Event Description

the MIT Energy Conference is the largest student-led energy conference in the U.S., first held in 2006. The 2022 MIT Energy Conference will return in-person at the Boston Marriott Cambridge after a 2-year virtual hiatus and take place on March 31st and April 1st. The conference will also be streamed over the Hubilo platform to allow attendees to tune in virtually from around the globe. The keynotes and panels for this year's conference will revolve around our theme of "Accelerating the Clean Energy Transition"

In-person Experience

Live Keynotes and Panels

In-person attendees will have the opportunity to participate in and enjoy conference content live and in-person. They will also have access to the Hubilo app, where they can view all the content on the virtual platform.

Networking

In-person attendees will have access to unparalleled formal and informal networking opportunities. In addition to our 50+ speakers, panelists, and moderators, in-person attendees will have the opportunity to meet industry peers, startup companies, venture capitalists, energy-minded Sloan MBAs, MIT graduate students, MIT undergraduate students, and students from other universities.

Tech Showcase

Furthermore, in-person attendees will have access to the Energy & Climate Tech Showcase taking place on March 31st. The purpose of the Showcase is to bring together the most exciting companies and research organizations advancing the clean energy transition and the fight against climate change. Conference attendees will get a chance to learn about these companies and organizations and view their tech in action.

Virtual Experience

All keynotes and panels will be streamed live on Hubilo for virtual attendees to synchronously watch and ask questions. Recordings will be made available to ticket holders only (in-person or virtual) on Hubilo for a limited period of time after the conference ends, subject to privacy requests and approvals from our speakers.

Virtual attendees will also have a chance to network through Toucan, where they can gather virtually with others. A hybridized version of the Showcase will also be available on Hubilo, where attendees can view posters and content from the Showcase, as well as contact information to reach out to the presenters.
