Event Description

Ride with Team USGBC in the Second Annual Green Ride for Green Students!

Join a leisurely bike tour of Saint Paul as Team USGBC raises funds to support future climate leaders. Last year was a lot of fun, and hopefully  you can get out and be active again while raising money for a great cause in 2019. This event is open to all, so please invite your friends and family to join!

The 2019 Green Ride is supporting hands on, student-propelled, sustainability solutions that instills climate crisis literacy, action, and leadership for students in our community.

Team USGBC reaches youth through the Green Students Mentoring Program. This initiative educates students about how the buildings they live, learn, and play in are impacting our climate now and in the future. With mentors, they learn about strategies to make their buildings more healthy and sustainable places to be in. By teaching students these lessons today, our hope is that they will make better environmental, societal, and financial decisionswhen they become leaders of tomorrow.

Total Investment - $56 ($20 goes directly to student climate leadership and literacy program; $36 covers costs of ride with the bike tour host, the Saint Paul Classic)
