Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.

We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.

Super Insulation for Zero-Energy Buildings, Three Online Sessions, January 5-19, 6 - 8 pm
Event Description
This course covers the fundamentals for designing and building zero-energy homes by covering key principles of building science and energy performance. Topics include life safety, healthy home fundamentals, heat loss and gain, insulation performance, air-sealing, and moisture control. You'll also explore how layout and construction choices impact HVAC and plumbing costs, solar gain, durability, and overall functionality.
Class Schedule -
January 5th to 19th, Monday evenings from 6 - 8 pm.
This course utilizes a “flipped classroom” so you’ll need to prepare for class by watching a series of pre-recorded videos introducing the material so that the in-class time can be focused on question and answer.
